Practicing barrel

This year the girls will be competing in the little jr. rodeo in Oakley. They have been practicing really hard trying to get ready. Madison is running a different horse this year. She will be using Drifter! Which she is so excited. She will be using drifter on the Barrels and then running Mouse on the Poles. 

Ainsley has also been practing and she will be using Mouse on the Barrels. She isn't quite ready for Poles yet.
They both will be also be doing the Goat tail untying. Which they wont be using a horse for that.
Tonight is their  first rodeo.
I have also been working with my head horse and been practing him on the barrels. He is coming along pretty well. So I have decided to run him tonight. I am a little nervous, Since it will be his first time running and my first time running barrels since high school!! wish us all good luck!!

Mothers Day 2015

I have very spoiled for Mothers Day!! Chase and the girls got me flowers!! Then my mom took the girls shopping and they got me some more  flowers!! I am sure lucky to have such wonderful girls! I am very lucky to be there mom. I think I learn more from them then they learn from me!! I love you girls!!

Reno

Chase got him a he cow dog!! He is a border Collie We sure love him.. We named him Reno.. For only being a couple months old he is pretty smart!! 

Baby Horse

The girls have never been around a baby horse. When we received all that rain a few weeks ago, one of friends was trying to find a dryer place for their new baby horse and her mom. Luckily chases parents had some room at their place. The girls sure have loved being around a baby horse. And they made sure the cute little horse got plenty of loves!

Girls day

We were able to have a girls day during spring break!! The girl, Tana, Tara, and I went to twin and went to the movies..

We went and ate lunch at artic circle 

Then went to the mall theatre and watched Cinderella. The girls loved it!!! It was the Ainsley first time going to the movies.. And she did pretty good. Towards the end she started to get restless. 

After the movies we went to orange crush and had ice cream..

Spring time moving cows

This year  I was able to go out and help my dad turn his cows out.. It was a beautiful day!!  And I am so happy I was able to go out and help!

We were also able to go out and help my dad take cottles over to black pine. Madison begged and begged to please go and help.. So I finally gave in and she was up at 5:30 ready  to go help papa:) 

She got to ride papa horse:) good thing she isn't afraid of anything.. Love having a little cowgirl!! 

Last day of preschool

Wow I really can't believe that Madison is done with preschool and she will be going to kindergarten next year.. She has been blessed so many amazing teachers to help her that past three years!! I am so thankful for each and every one of them!!!

I was able to go to Madison school the last day and help with their party!! She had such a fun time!!

Spring field trips

I was able to go on a few field trips with Madison and her class.. 

We went to the west end fire station! The girls loved it. They were able to dress up like a firefighter, also got to sit in the fire trucks. And also got to spray the fire hose! 

Our next trip was to the library and sheriff department.. At the library they read a story and then they got a tour of the library and also was given a free book. At the sheriffs department, we got a tour there also!! 

So thankful I was able to go with Madison! 

BBQ

We have taking advantage of our amazing evenings we have had lately. We have roasted hot dogs/marshmallows a couple of times!! I love it!! 

Baby shower

My sister in law is having her first baby the middle of June. I was able to go to her baby shower!! It was a good time being able to talk with everyone!! She got some great stuff!! 

Easter

We spent Easter this year at our house. The girls got up and had a scavenger hunt, to find their baskets. We also did an egg hunt in our house:) it was a little chilly and the girls didn't want to go outside.  Chases parents also came over and we had a BBQ!! 

5k Fun Run

I was able to go out to Malta and pArticpate in the 5k fun run out in Malta in March.. I am so glad a was able to out and help support the ward family.. Even though I am not even close to being in shape. I am still happy I went!! I was able to walk/run with my sisters!!

Spring soccer 2015

We signed Madison up to play soccer this spring.. She sure loved it!!! She got better every game!!! I love watching her and watching her grow into an amAzing girl!!! Chase also got to help coach her team.. And I am not sure who liked it more Madison or chase!

Christmas 2014!

The Saturday before Christmas we got together with my family and went to the live nativity up to Albion! It was amazing and the girls loved it.

Christmas Eve we went over to chases grandparents house and spent some time with them. Then we came home and the girls opened their pjs!! 

And then Santa came!!

Christmas day was a little different then what we usually do. With the snow storm that hit, chase got called into work and worked most of the day so that delayed us celebrating Christmas. Ainsley wasn't feeling to well so it was nice to just be able to stay home and let her sleep most of the day. Madison was able to open a few gifts and her and i played games. After chase got off work, his parents, Casey and Maribeth came over and we celebrated Christmas and opened gifts. The next day my family came down and we celebrated Christmas again with them.

We were all very spoiled for Christmas. I am very thankful for our wonderful family!!
We also got some awesome news!! We found out that chases sister was expecting their first baby!! Little baby Harman is Due in the Middle of June!! We cant wait to meet the cute little buddle of joy. 

New Years Day

On New Years day the girls and I went up to Yost with my parents and sister and went sledding. It was a lot of fun. The girls had a blast. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the company and the sun!

Arizona

We were able to take  a small little vacation this year down to Wickenburg, Arizona!! The weather was wonderful the whole time we were there. we had 70-75 degrees most of the days. Even when it would rain it was like a warm rain!! We sure had a great time. We there for a week. We left Thursday February 19 and came back on February 28.
We left at 4:00 am Thursday morning and traveled to Las Vegas where we stayed the night.. The girls travel  really well slept most of the way.. We were able to take chases grandparents semi and camper.

On Friday Chase and his parents competed in a sorting at Horseman parks in Las Vegas. After they got done we loaded up and headed to Wickenburg. We got to Wickenburg that evening.

Saturday was chases birthday and we were able to go out to our friend Stoney's house and roped. Then that evening Chase opened his gifts and we had cake!

Sunday we got up and Chase and Gene went to a roping. They didn't do any good but still has a good time.

Monday it rained most of the day so we went for a drive. We went over to cave creek and explored around and did a little bit of shopping.
Tuesday The guys went to another roping.

Wednesday  we roped most the day at stoneys house. I roped this day and actually roped pretty good, considering that I hadn't roped for a couple of months. The girls were able to ride most of the day so they loved it

Thursday we took a drive over to Quartsite. Which is about an hour and a half from Wickenburg. We were able to see both of chases grandparents. We also went on a 4 wheeler/side by side ride up into the mountains. It was so much fun and really enjoyed it,, The girls sure had a great time. We then went over to grandpa gene and Grandpa marvis house and they fed us dinner. which was amazing!!

Friday chase and gene entered another roping, and didn't do any good. After the roping we went shopping down town Wickenburg. Then we just relaxed the rest of the night
Saturday we got up about 6:00 am and headed home. the weather was really decent most of the way. We did run into snow a couple times.

We all had a great time, but we were all excited to be home and sleep in our own beds. The girls keep asking us when we can go back to Arizona!
